It is most likely a series. There are already two chapters that are translated, including this one. Once all the books are completed, you can probably read them all in one place. Also note that different people are doing the translations so it won't be in chronological order. Whatever gets released are simply what the translators enjoy the most, or if they are being commissioned, then what the commissioners enjoy the most.

or I would have been confused considering how the protagonist seems
un-surprised that the girl is a mermaid. (Note the room their in is the
