If we are talking about Guro, I don't believe that is an actual japanese word (even romanized), instead it means grotesque as far as I know. Stimulation from murder and stimulation for blood are different from Guro, but the original definition doesn't matter; we are already used to the "Guro = blood/murder sex" mentality.
