Designs on page 15 are way cooler than the final designs. Same for the 01 design on pg 32. Though I guess this is usually the case. Gundam 00 draft designs were incredibly unique and interesting while the final designs were entirely lack luster in comparison.

This must be the early stage of the anime production.
The sketches are rather uneven and uncertainly drawn, as if trying out different things.
Cant say that they are better than the final product.
Although the ones above are a bit less mainstream though.

The designs on page 15 look more like Gundams, aka not cooler.
