How is it "taking over"? It's like saying straight porn is taking over. Both are equally valid kinds of porn, and yaoi is a very broad genre. There's more to it than just man on man, just like there's more to straight than just man on woman. I'll give you that there's a lot of furry bara coming up, but that's because of some quite productive artists and ditto translators. That's pretty impressive, you've gotta give them that.
