Its janky, but considering he was artist, writer AND translator, its not bad.

Maybe translating their own work is a good way to keep up their English studies, and they can themselves expand their market. More artists should consider it.

Given that the grammar of English and Japanese differs greatly, I reckon it's better for the artist to translate it to English, have a proofreader alters it into proper English [without changing the words unless it's too awkward (e.g. Folks, fall out instead of run out)] and compare it himself to get a 'feel' of how English flow as opposed to Japanese. Since the vocabulary of Hentai manga should be limited, that's definitely better than attempting to translate it himself.

I mean, unless someone send an e-mail to bash him about it and offer alternative translation, the artist will hardly improve his English.

@Kenjimax, I agree, but in actual fact for more than two decades I've felt like bashing every single anime, game and manga production company who had attempted to use any foreign language to any extent. They just don't realise that people are actually laughing or annoyed at their measly attempts which they think are great.

Heck I've offered some companies to do translations for their upcoming works but had been turned down because they wanted to do it themselves. I wished them all the best and as it turns out, the jokes were still on them. I'm sure that I am not the only one who had tried this though.

But at the end of the day, I'd value this posted work as another attempt.
