Doubt its a trace, this guys already been doing this stuff for a while, and that pic was created around 20 pages in, when the characters were already drawn up and planned out.

Anasheya, if you're checking this out, keep comments at HF disabled and just do what you want. I doubt Rodin, Gaugin, van Gogh, or any of the others really paid much attention to critics.
