I have a theory about otohime. I am sure most of you know what Enjo-kōsai (compensation dating) is. I reckon this artist has a habit of going on such dates with school girls, and instead of taking photographs as a memento, he does quick sketches and watercolor studies of the girls he spends time with. Or maybe he tags along with other men and sits quietly in the corner creating pictures while they're at it.
