For anyone who doesn't know:
Momotaro is a Japanese folk tale of a boy named Momotaro. An elderly couple finds baby Momotaro inside a floating peach on a river; thus he is named Momotaro (Momo is peach, -taro is a normal suffix for a Japanese boy's name). He is buff as fuck. He goes around recruiting members for his pimp gang, some being a monkey and a talking dog, and goes around assraping ogres and shit who are jewraping money from his adoptive parents. Generally badass. He's probably 10 years old in the story.

Setsubun (Bean-throwing festival) is celebrated the day before Spring starts. In its association with the Lunar New Year, Spring Setsubun can be and was previously thought of as a sort of New Year's Eve, and so was accompanied by a special ritual to cleanse away all the evil of the former year and drive away disease-bringing evil spirits for the year to come. This special ritual is called mamemaki (literally "bean throwing"). Families often have the father become the 'evil spirit', often in the form of an ogre, while the children 'chase away' the ogre by throwing beans. Yes, we are weird. It's Japan, deal with it.
This ogre is not associated with the ogres in Momotaro's story.
