I highly recommend reading the manga because it explores further into this beautiful world that Miyazaki created. The film only touches the iceberg of this work

That's my plan, once its available in my region again. It is really weird, born in the 80s I kinda grew up with Ghibli movies, yet Ive never seen Nausicaä or Porco Rosso until this weekend, and they both immediately became my favourite movies of Miyazaki.
