If you're confused about what the fuck I'm talking about...David Productions, the people beyond the glorious Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency seasons of Jojo 2012 and early 2013, suddenly decided to pick up Hyper Dimension Neptunia for their next project instead of making Part 3 as soon as possible. Arguably some people were pissed off and actually rather upset about the cutoff of their Jojo Fix, especially with that teaser at the end of season 2. So the good news is, Jojo Part 3: The Animation has been announcenced, and we'll have a set release date for its airing come December. The bad news was that we had to wait for Jojo thanks to this show.

@Luke78 David Production has no say in how far they'd animate the Jojo adaption you know?

The Jojo production committee / investors gave David Production budget permission to only go ahead with just part 1 & 2 adaptions. To see how profitable the anime is, and how good it was at advertising any other Jojo related merchandise. Which was successful. Besides, it takes quite the time to produce even one anime episode, even more for something with more details and what not. IIRC in some BD extra commentaries, an 'average' anime episode takes anywhere from 3-5 weeks to be completed, and that a usual 1 cour (12/13 episodes) is usually in production from 6+ months from before it even starts airing.

Neptunia's production committee / investors have nothing at all to do with David's animating of Jojo.
