On this pixiv page for this doujin: "My doujinshi publishing group, Haitokukan(背徳漢), has a stated policy of discontinuing publishing of a doujinshi series when a work is uploaded for public consumption without my permission. Please do not upload my publications if you wish to support my efforts to publish new and interesting doujinshis. Thank you."
Welp, that's it, kiss this series goodbye. Hope you guys enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
@qazmlpok: Oh, it's on all of them? Nevermind.

@Zakuzelo: yeah... because people would never ever buy a physical copy or even a digital copy from the author if they can just download stuff off the net
I mean, just look at the book industry! There are basically no new books published and Amazon is the only remaining publisher, all the other did bankrupt. oh, sorry, I was just looking at the /other/ universe, where breaking DRM is an offence punishable by death
we'll just have to read stuff from the other few hundred authors that can deal with 1st world problems

And that publisher and artistmust hate money then as people will find new publishers and leave them with NO MONEY. Of course the publisher gets paid beforehand. The artist pays for the printing.
Of course it's probably a bluff. Just sounds like the artist is lying. Admittedly this tends to be rather generic rape so not much is lost.
Protip: Digital Distribution eliminates a publisher
@Zakuzelo This isn't their first doujinshi that's been uploaded, and they all say that. So either it is a bluff, or they just haven't realized that 5 of their doujins have now been uploaded.
