I love smudge's work, but has anyone ever noticed that he has a slight problem with consistency and sentence structure?

Yes. His spelling also sucks, but, oddly enough, is somewhat consistent. For example, he always writes the word "thought" as "thot."

His artwork does tent to be inconsistent, but has generally gotten better and more detailed over the years. His use of textures, shading, and other effects has really improved, and those might be his greatest strengths as an artist; well, that and the way he draws faces. Just compare some of his 2007-2009 stuff with work from 2011 onward; a definite improvement. When his work is good, it can be hot as hell, but when it sucks, it tends to really suck.

Also, sometimes he'll start a story thread and then abruptly end it so that you feel like you're reading only a piece of a larger work when in fact there is no larger work, he just stopped somewhere in the middle without providing any proper closure or transition.
