@piyin: Easiest solution is to move pictures 125_1 through 242_99 to a new folder (118 files) and then remove the three-digit numbering at the beginning of the filename along with the underscore. This way you'll have the no-text version in the original numbering, 1.jpg to 119.jpg. You can find the #3 that's missing at 243_R, just rename that to "3" and you're set. Adding zeros at the beginning so that you'll have 001, 002, 077 and so on is optional, but I remember some old versions of ACDSee acting up in similar cases, so I'm just mentioning it in case someone has issues.
