Thanks. But who tagged this 'moral degeneration'? There's already 'corruption', a long standing tag that conveys the same meaning.

"Moral Degeneration" has superceded "corruption" when it comes to a typical lay person tossing aside their values and embracing self-interest and hedonism.

"Corruption" indicates an external force causing physical and/or mental alterations resulting in a good or neutral figure undergoing a transformation into what could be considered to be an (often inherently) evil or monstrous being.

Put it this way; if an innocent girl is screwed by lots of guys, and ends up becoming a trashy slut; that's moral degeneration.

If an innocent girl is raped by a group of demons and magically transforms into a seductive succubus; that's corruption.

"Moral degeneration" usually implies agency on the part of the person undergoing it; "Corruption" usually does not.

It's a distinction well worth having, don't you think?
