I enjoyed the humorous after stories a lot more than the main story. This artist kind of reminds me of a less creative, discount Junji Ito (I don't necessarily mean that as an insult).

Reading between the lines (and not even looking that hard), it's obvious that Kago deeply loathes the anime industry and all that it stands for - fans, creators, actors, content and all.

Holy shit...this should've just been called 'Killemall' from the very beginning.

Even worse the one you thought would survive doesn't.

Even worse than that, the last one to die was the one with the most character development which really wasn't THAT much but it was more than anyone else.

At the end I could say that I really didn't care about many of the characters but the author made sure to make you like one just enough for it to sting when she ended up as a 'Key Frame' anyway even after managing to "Survive" the hopeless situation and betrayal.

I don't like bad ends honestly however they can be tolerable to an extent, but when an author literally spits in the readers face in an ending such as this one it really gets under my skin.

This is the only thing that can unironically (and literally) be called a "deconstruction".
A hell of a wild ride with some great short stories at the end, too.

This is a really interesting read if you can stomach the violence. I was amazed that someone sat down and thought up that rigging system and all of the different elements of manga translated into murder.
