I once pitched a Halloween special in which Fry uses that device to avoid paying to rent a movie; he tells it to show the gang "the best zombie movie from his era" and it shows them "Plan 9 From Outer Space" with Zoidberg filling in for Tor Johnson, Farnsworth for Bela Lugosi, Mom for Vampira, Kif and Amy as Eros and Tana, Lrrr as the Leader who has to read his lines from script, Zapp as Colonel Punchy, Bender as the detective who doesn't know how to handle a pistol (he shoots out one of his eyes), and Nibbler as Criswell ("Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember, my friend, future events such as these will affect you...in the future").
