Actually, UD, if I recall the explanation given in the show, the "Bigender" types like Izuna will have their bodies change to match, once s/he finds a life partner. Therefore, Izuna sprouting a penis is entirely withing the realm of canon possibility. (What lies inside hir pants right now, BEFORE making that change, is an interesting question. Some thumb-sized organ too big to be a clit and too small to be a penis? Something more like a Barbie doll with a urethra?)

You have a valid point though: So far though (I'm up to episode 9 now) Izuna seems rather interested in our male lead, so yeah, one assumes s/he would be shifting to be more feminine, along with the corresponding plumbing, rather than shifting to compliment a female partner.
