This is an underrated book and probably my favorite non-H Madoka doujin. In fact, despite its shortness, I think I'd hold its technical skill and creativity above the official parody spin-offs.

Unfortunately, the cast as fujoshi drawing and peddling yaoi doujins at cons is as niche as it sounds. The gags are buried under a few extra subcultures that even the comic makes fun of for being impenetrable to outsiders. I don't even know if half the gags can translate. Yet the comic applies all that to some clever references and fourth-wall breaking. This book was made with a lot of love and delivers because of and in spite of its outlandishly geeky premise, channeling the creator's own experiences and acquaintances in the doujin scene.

I wish making comics like this was A-10's day job, especially given this is close to his first shot at 4-panel comics and he knocks it mostly out of the park. He's got just as much talent at dirtying girls up as he does keeping things... moderately clean. It is still about girls discussing and selling unlicensed gay cartoon porn, and it's plenty funny and charming.
