- Yes you may be right on this, but I'd need to tell you; if the girl or the guy would break so easily, it wouldn't convince the readers to believe what they're facing, thus leading to a shitty NTR. The sad part is that many artists strived so hard it became forced to follow the netorare flow, creating worse and worse unconvincing plot.

If you'd shake your head and deny the reading of every NTRs then you wouldn't have read the good ones. Try Xration, MTSP, or Higenamuchi. These stories blow my mind as one who loves the genre.

But I agree on the poorly written part, though, but not all of it. As long as it's not emotional driving enough to convince the reader that the girl would truly break and became addicted if they face the situation, then it is a poor writing. So sad most of the one-shot NTR turns out to be like this. It's really hard to make a good writing netorare with only allowed one chapter. You need to build up feelings for the couple, destroy it slowly, having the readers be growing to believe that the girls gets really addicting by the godlike sex, then break it apart in the final chaps. It requires a lot of work.

I got your point but by that logic, the whole plot of what MTSP did would be also be counted as stealth cheating since the protagonist had no idea what's going on.

So imo I don't think we can categorize between cheating and NTR just by situating that "does the guy know about it?" at all. It depends on the girl's thought. If she is more than willing to spread her legs for the antagonist, then it is cheating. If there's some sort of situation that would force her to follow the order, then it could be seen as NTR. But overall it depends on how happy the girl was when she was getting fucked in the first place
