Having never seen Etan's work before, I find his line work to be very bold, but also very messy. In some pieces, that works exceptionally well, but in a lot of them, it distracts as much as it invigorates. They can clearly polish when they want to, since several pieces show that capability, but it doesn't seem to be something that Etan takes a serious interest in. If you like herms, then they seem like a fairly good artist to watch. Otherwise, I'd tend to say check back in a year, and see how they've grown.
