I downloaded and then edited the high quality version of this on my computer where I fixed the black levels / contrast / curves as well 'shoped out the rips on the binding and minor cropping.

How would I get that uploaded? I don't know the way to go about this. Do I just make a new one from "My Galleries". Do I have to link it back to this one some how?

Just put it out as the same title with the addendum "highres" or "tank scans". Somebody else may delete this one eventually. You don't have to worry. But you should like to this gallery in the description so people and petition for this one to be expunged if they think your new gallery is better.
