I remember the exact cartoon this was referencing too. Daffy duck was the family pet until they brought a cute baby duck so they no longer paid as much attention to Daffy. The entire episode he tried to get rid of the baby duck but it was hard because the girl was always smothering the baby duck. Daffy decided to kill it but couldn't do it. So he got vitamins to make him grow to an adult duck and THEN kill him. But then the baby duck grew into a hot chick duck.

Actually, the girl's father hated Daffy after it grown to be a nuisance. and was driving the man crazy. The father tried to get rid of Daffy without his daughter knowing, but you know how crafty Daffy is. In the end, the father decided that the only way to get rid of the duck was with a younger duck. Daffy tried to get rid of that duck, but it was too cute/young to die, then... well, you know the rest.
