Well, what do you know. I ended up getting this one done much earlier than expected. Perhaps not so strange though, considering a few factors, such as this one being one of the first novels I started working on, the fact that finishing the two other novels I'd worked on that were the closest ones to being finsihed has now made it possible for me to turn my attention towards other novels and stuff and then the fact that after finishing chapter 3 of this one, which was the most difficult one out of the ones in this novel for me (and is where my translation is probably the weakeast of all places in this story, which I can only apologize for), the remaining two chapters were rather more easily and faster done in comparison...

Will be some time until I have another novel translated though, for none of the ones I'm working on now is as close to completetion as the three I have so far done were - the one closest to being completed is one that I'm halfway through translating, and that remaining half will take weeks at the very least but more likely months to complete. I'll likely have soem other stuff done before that happens though :) .

Well, now it's done at any rate, so enjoy the tale of Orkus and Aria. Oh, and I wonder if anyone else reminded the Tales from the Cryptkeeper cartoon episode 'hunted' with the whole concept of a curse that can only be passed on to someone else...
Well, if nothing else, I suppose the ending of this one will at least strike people as more light-hearted than the ending of the previous TS-revolver work that I translated XD .

Now for the boring stuff:

I'm not a native english speaker, nor an all that good translator and despite my best efforts, there may be spelling errors and the like that has escaped my eyes - a disadvantage of working alone is that you have a harder time spotting your own errors/mistakes. Fact is, in an almost purely text-based work such as this one, my previously mentioned weaknesses become even more glaring obvious and harder for both critic and casual reader to overlook, I fear -_- . So my apologies in advance for any errors on my part you spot. Still... Enjoy! :)

imercenary: At least the case you showcase has a picture to it, so the audience/readers can/should be able to understand it from there.

Archangel_perv: Haha, possibly, though translating games, now is a whole different animal from the stuff I usually translate(though I guess these novels come fairly close). While translating a game/some games might be fun, it also comes with certain drawbacks I'd rather be without, not to mention there are other troubles and problems that would have to be taken care of then...

senelk: Possibly, but not necessarily. After all, judging from the letter in chapter 5, the 'tradition' is for the demon king to genderbend the hero who is to be his/her successor. So then, that would mean that at the start of Orkus's tenure as the Demon King (or the Demon Queen, as the case may be) he would change Aria's gender from female to male and then vice-versa once they switch places, meaning most of the time there is either a female Demon King (Orkus) and a male (genderbent) Aria around, or a male Demon King (Aria) and a female Orkus. Which means tha tthe thing about Aria 'being a woman when she was a female magician' might be a just a technicality, as it's not her true - or at least not original - gender...

On P. 54 It is said that Orkus as demon king(queen) = woman, and as human= man, while Aria as demon king = man, and as human = woman.
IF both of them alternate then in Orkus as demon king(queen) peroid, Orkus and Aria would be woman and if Aria as demon king period, Orkus and Aria would be man!!???
