Even in 02 when this was publish, Kawarajima wasn't really a 'new generation'. Been drawing since 1990.

Hello walkerriley, I was wandering if I was the only one viewing this old art in 2021, and I also ask myself what they had in mind when they were coming up with “new generation” in the title. Maybe the publisher remembered manga from 1970-1980, and 1990-2000 is the next generation to them? It might be the case that by the time it was being prepared to be published the newest generation hasn't been established yet.
