There's something amiss in this one. The CGs are great by themselves, but the story itself...There's no weight to it.
Even when she loses her human body, and should be despairing at the loss of her figure, she adds that she can just be turned right back as the entire procedure was completely pointless, to which the antagonist retorts by installing "Slut 1.01" into her brain and finishes up the story. It's like there was no point to the whole "mwaha despair!" vibe that the narrative tried to have going on, when everything was accomplished so immediately and forcefully.

In corruption-stories, what usually happens in cases like these, is that the person herself turn herself into more and more a monster by being unable to control her new found needs / desires, trampling on others and her own self as she's unable to overcome her emerging persona. Instead, in this story just...Poof! Monster. Poof! Brainwashed.
One of the fun things about corruption is the tension, the knowledge that they already lost and they just need to realize it as they push themselves down a dead end...But, I don't feel any tension here.

Really, what shocked me was that when she transformed into an eldritch abomination, the only thing that ran in my mind was: "okay, and...?"
And I simply *LOVED* this guy's previous work, the slime-princess thing. It was brutal with good pacing. What happened?

@Theodiggers , thumbs up, man. If you check out the original release on g.e, you'd see that most people also felt this series felt "incomplete". I'd assume it wasn't only our lil' forum that felt odd about this one. I somewhat wonder what was the consensus in his Pixiv account.

Anyway, yes. His art is beautifully on point, but the the stories could be 10x panels and I'd get an even phatter nut. I really wish there was more detail to the corruption: like dump her in a chamber somewhere, and let her slowly change, deal with the body, discover the body, start having *those* thoughts. Even better if she were injected and then released back to her people, and she has to keep her changes bodily and mentally hidden.

But seldom do artistic talent and story talent come in the same package. I can try to write Chris in Japanese on pixiv, but I 1) don't think my Japanese is good enough to not come across rudely 2) don't have high expectations for him to linger on the finer points of *our* fantasies
