The third lady is Tamai. She runs an okonomiyaki shop, shows up later in the manga (from story 53), and is an old acquaintance of the main character's father (they have kind of a rivalry at festivals concerning running a monjayaki booth, but it seems to be one of those situations where they outwardly argue but get along well.)
