The dialogue is reminiscent of two chatbots talking to each other at times. In particular:
- He knows her name, but is puzzled by the term sexaroid.
- She would rather "die" than "be scrapped"

Neither one suggests any depth, like they're simply following a pre-recorded routine.

In short:
He's a robot too, and we're looking at the ultimate outcome of Mrsuperhappy's scenario: a Japan deserted of people, inhabited solely by the products of an automated robot factory buying products from itself and going through a masturbatory pantomime of human interaction, because thats all it knows how to do.

@Arkper, i have to respectfully disagree in part.

- She would rather "die" than "be scrapped" - Like children of even adults, they sometimes say "id rather die then XYZ" its not meant to be taken literally so when she says "Id rather die than be scrapped", its meant as a child like/innocent reaction and to be a bit humorous.

Considering they pulled this, and im fairly confident this is exactly as they meant it. i HIGHLY doubt the author would make such a simple and bogus mistake as your first point. I think its far more likely that the translator(through no fault of their own) just happened to miss something, or we as a group simply dont understand it.

TLDR; I think you are selling the author so short that you are missing at least one fairly obvious(to me anyway) explanation for one of the cases, so its likely we are all missing the other one somehow.

Started to read.
Lost interest to fap and only wanted to continue for the story.
Finally wanted to fap again and continued for the story.

I have to say though, I liked the whole thing except for the final page.
It felt like it ended a bit to quick and she did seem to be getting to adapt to him and just did a 180 after finding out she's modeled after his first love.
I expected by then she would've been a little more calmer. Especially how it seems like the way he is from the beginning to the end seems to be in some form of docile and calm and seemed a bit sad to me. That's the vibe I got.
Probably first love could either be the very first crush that he never got to be with and now a bit happy and sad to be with her at least in sexaroid form, or that his first love left him, or maybe even died.
The final page kind of killed the moment for me.

I guess if I'm ever reading this again, and I'm sure I will one day, I'll just imagine the final page doesn't exist.
