Too bad my favorite dancer is not in this gallery yet - the one from Romancing Saga 3.

The reason they are my favorite is because of their costume design.

They wear a mini shirt over torso, a long piece of silk in hand, and... absolutely NOTHING ELSE.

That's right. No skirt, no panty, nothing. Easily one of the best dancer costume in videogame history.

Presumably they maneuver that piece of silk to cover their privates when dancing, because they are not too shy to show their bare ass either. See the in-game sprite for yourself:
