My first project in SFM I'm actually satisfied with. I stayed up a whole night cause I kept coming up with new ideas to add in :) Still have ideas left.
Update: Didn't feel right to leave this unfinished. Added lighting, post-render work, and reworked and added some shots. Has a couple of glaring flaws here and there still, but I'm moving on for now.
1. Overwatch already has two ninjas within its own setting. - a. Hanzo, a human ninja archer. - b. Genji, Hanzo's brother and a full-body-cyborg ninja swordsman (full cyborg because Hanzo tried to kill Genji, and nearly succeeded).
You could have used either (or both) of them instead of Ninja Gaiden's Ryu Hayabusa .
2. A note for future reference for depicting Tracer: her harness.
If you read-up on Tracer's bio & origin story, she has to wear her Chronal Accelerator harness (the high-tech device on her chest and back) at ALL times. Without her harness, Lena loses her physical form, becoming a "temporal ghost", unable to touch or talk with anyone while warping uncontrollably back-&-forth through Time. So with the exception of special containment rooms (so she can live in) designed for her by the Overwatch scientist-hero Winston, she must keep her Chronal Accelerator harness (also built by Winston) on at all times.
Think of it like X-Men's Cyclops, with his having to constantly wear his ruby-glasses/-visor in order to contain/control his powerful but involuntary optic beams. Same principle (& everyday inconvenience) for Tracer and her harness.
That is the (tragic) irony of Tracer & her Chronal Accelerator harness: she wears a literal Time Machine on her chest and back, but she has to wear and run it 24/7 just so she can stay in the Present .
I'm on board. Good variety of poses and expressions. Models aren't offensive or overly jank. You call yourself out on the lighting setup so I assume you understand how much that would improve things.
You seem like you've got a handle on the process. I would welcome more.
Only major criticism: I think I can see the back wall through Tracer's anus in page 5. It's a might odd.
Thanks for the input, have taken it into consideration for my next set. I'll see if I can be bothered to go back to this later and apply the things I've learned so far.
