I've always had a problem enjoying these, because my damned Suspension of Disbelief isn't strong enough to make me forget that these dudes are manhandling a pair of supernatural powerhouses. One is a deity and the other is the flipping Queen of Hell... It's like seeing a comic where someone is seriously trying to pass off Hitler as a good guy. Doesn't work.
Well, you could have the method Palcomix's "Ah! Enslavement of my Goddess" has where a computer glitch results in Belldandy's being powerless. Also it should be noted that that the "Hell" of the series is the Norse version of the place not the Christian one. In actual Greek mythology Hades (ruler of the Greek Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory) gets himself locked up in a dog kennel by Sisyphus preventing anyone from dying. If Hades can be locked up in a dog kennel by a mere mortal then the manhandling of Urd and Hild is well within the Suspension of Disbelief as they are not as powerful as you think they are.
