I wonder, how exactly would one classify Piyotycho? At least as far as I can tell they're Japanese, but their panel layout is LtR (had to go back and check, ha, had it the other way around at first), their art (of which I am a fan) of course appears to have western influence, and their English seems serviceable when needs be. Would this be best in Western or Doujinshi/Manga?

This artist has a very 90s indie comic feel to them. Very hellboy/tank girl.

I checked out their twitter. They actually have fanart of these characters meeting hellboy, which is hilarious, but they also mention that Slipshine's Josh Lesnick helped them translate/write this.
