Anyone else notice cases like this when the female character appears in one outfit on the cover, yet she doesn't appear in that outfit anywhere else in the doujin/manga. What's up with that?

Bait and switch?
Also happens with titles: "Amazing girl harem composed of the entire cast from X show!" Then: "Huh, it's just the main girl? The other ones showed up naked but, that's it? What a sham!"
Or with things like glasses, girl wears them on the cover only to have them nowhere to be seen in its content at all.
Sometimes you get the reverse situation, she's with her regular outfit in the cover, then out of nowhere, cosplay!
Or... SURPRISE!: [futanari], [scat], [bestiality], [snuff], [smegma], [strap-on] + [pegging], [amputee], [tentacle], [insect], [parasite] and or [vore]. All of which, not hinted on the title nor the cover.
It is how it is.

I get what you guys mean and totally agree with you, but I think the doujin is amazing nonetheless. The art is great, and there's a worrying shortage of Ace Attorney doujins as you know, so I am thankful that this exists. Love Junkie is still the best Ace Attorney doujin though.
A shame this one didn't have Mia in clothes.
