@Bookrat15 It wasn't a tactic at all, it had been clearly established that he was a very sexual person meanwhile she was fully aware how nervous she was about sex, despite having every opportunity to decide that this relationship wasn't something that she was comfortable with, she instead continued a relationship and he put up without so much as a kiss for a year and a half filled with a lot of quality time together. He was probably already tempted to leave before the promise was made because while they might have been compatible on an emotional level they clearly wanted different things from the sex life (at that point anyways), so she made a deal to keep him to stay and when push came to shove she was going to welch on it, that's INCREDIBLY manipulative. He wanted to leave because they just weren't compatible and what she effectively did was lie to him to keep him around. She may not have meant to deceive him but that is still what she had done, and even after he felt like he had been betrayed and jerked around (given how she manipulated him and was controlling enough to deny a high-sexual person aids in being able to help HIMSELF for at least the first year and a half those feelings are pretty well founded) he even then tried to keep his emotions from going out of control, as he said he wanted to leave before he said more hateful comments since what he was saying, out of quite reasonable hurt, were rather hurtful and he didn't think that was appropriate. I'm not saying that he would have been justified had he pushed her down and raped her, but given that he was at the point that he was probably willing to end things before the first blowjob and she needed to lie to keep him around I'd hardly call it fair to say that him deciding to end the relationship was a 'tactic' when it seemed quite clear that he fully intended to commit to leaving.

All that said, I rather enjoyed the story, guy was a tad over-emotional but I at least felt that this story and the emotions involved with it fit together rather well and all. The only thing that stood out to me was that she got rid of his fap material considering that he never really hid his sexual needs and how shy she was, but it came off to me as more of a device to better frame his state of mind as to need their relationship to advance or him leaving, and considering how often I find myself wondering why the guy doesn't just masturbate in similar stories (where the guy 'needs' sex and the girl isn't 100% into it) I preferred it's inclusion to help the story feel more cohesive than I would have preferred it's exclusion to make the girl seem less controlling. But that's just me.
