I've seen a lot worse out there. The main problem with these though is that you're basically sticking an mostly animal head on a mostly human shaped body - it looks all sorts of odd mashup of two extremes rather than as coherent a blend. Ideally, something more silverfish style photomanip, but it's still pretty good quality work put into these regardless.
