^This is also my biggest gripe. Its like every digital artist who makes a living off Patreon is just doing their best sakimichan impersonation with no unique signature style. What I find most egregious is the lack of actual original content of these artists.

Art is beginning to look similar as more money happens

Let me break down for you why this will ALWAYS happen;
1. No/ minimal market results in everything being new, risky, and out of passion.
2. People want to see more and the interest grows. Artists can now make money!
3. Artists who make the most money do so because they have the widest appeal in the market.
4. Others who want money look for the biggest, most lucrative chunk of market. The medium will usually start exploding in size and scale.
5. 3+4 means that artists will start to drift towards the methods of the best at getting the most of the most lucrative chunk. As they begin to top out the potential of niche groups, those are effectively abandoned for wider appeal.
6. The best wide-appeal strategy as of 5 is now considered the standard. Because the market is now utterly choked with artists, it becomes dangerous to try new things and risk losing money. Groups begin to outperform individuals as they can produce more for less cost. Individual work is now less profitable as a result.
7. With less room for creativity, and with everything dominated by the standard, the medium enters a sort of plateau that lasts as long as the standards are occasionally refreshed (some media goes decades before a refresh). It ends when the content can no longer justify challenging standards as competition steps up.
8. 'Something for everyone' finishes its devolution into 'nothing for anyone'. With dwindling numbers of impassioned artists, the industry will gradually lose its ability to self-refresh, its gargantuan corporations unable to support their administrative weight. At this point several media companies will fold, lessening competition and revitalizing the medium through more money being available to risk takers. Return to 7 a few times until you run out of new visionary artists.
9. The industry can no longer support itself on a foundation of ever more monotonous, milquetoast content, and those companies who do not die off leave the medium. Go to 1 unless the companies convince the government it needs them, in which case, stay here forever.

There may well be a SIMILARITY but the works are unique in themselves. You can't say Monet and Degas painted the same thing, though the styles can be incredibly close. Yes, money does drive style and creativity even prior to Renaissance patrons subsidizing DaVinci or Michealangelo. An artist has to eat but that doesn't mean their work isn't creative or even revolutionary. Appreciate ART and stop focusing on similarities that are essentially meaningless.

This junk again? Is it all just one person making these or is there a fucking horde of talentless hacks crunching out this shit? Look at the high heel in the page ten. You can tell the artist clearly doesn't have a grasp on anything that's not on the photo they're directly tracing.
You can't fap to it because it's as erotic as a wet carpet, there is nothing happening on any of the pics, just the same autistic face on the same body in a shitty video game costume, none of which looking the part so it's neither a game/cartoon/whatever character nor a photo of a cosplay of one. So what is the purpose? It's not hentai, that's for sure. It's not art because it's bad and derivative and it's not even nice to look at.
Same shit with the Sakimichan or whatever. That hack is directly using photo elements on their work, pasting down textures, doing barely anything on their own and yet we have hordes of Pling Plongers sharting out the sea of this shit.
