People always give Atelier Sakura crap here and most of the time I feel it's a tad unjustified, but this story plays like a 17 page long doujin. A proper ending would've been nice.

People are weird. Atelier Sakura is known for its NTR content, the only one where it ends relatively good for the MC with no strings attached is the Marina series, everything else, even when it's Netorase, usually ends with bad vibes involved. Don't like it, go elsewhere lol.

@icesoul here's your summary:
bf route: she cheats on her boyfriend, he finds out and discovers he's a hyper diaper cuck so he bugs her apartment and peeks through her windows and whatever. there's no real plot development aside from the fact that she's more accepting of her own cheating towards the end, to the point where she even begins prioritizing time with her sex friend over time with the mc. also of course raw dogs her sf but refuses sex with her bf because he doesn't have any condoms. that's basically it for the entire story. there's no conclusion to it and there's hardly even any character development or anything to speak of. I don't know if they're intending to make a sequel to this or something but it's pretty crap as a standalone story 'cause it goes absolutely nowhere and then just ends all of a sudden.

AS should probably consider slowing their release schedule down a bit because this thing clearly needed a lot more time in the oven.

This game sells at only 2500 yen. I guess AS is now aiming for the Appetite cheap-and-quick nukige market. AS used to make such good/infuriating NTR.

Honestly they kind of always have aimed for the cheap and quick model with how they re-use the same backgrounds in literally every game and each story follows almost the same story with minor differences. Draw a new model then plop them down in the same rooms as the last game. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed all of their games, they each do still have their good points. But let's not kid ourselves, it's been a long time since Atelier Sakura has written a unique story. The past like 5 or 6 games have felt phoned in, and I mean seriously, look at how many games they're pumping out. We already have 8 games this year alone with another 2 already announced for later this year. We've got 1 in September and another in October. I don't know how big their development team is, but judging by how similar most of their recent works have been, I gotta say, it can't be that big. They're clearly pumping and dumping these things.

Now again, I'll probably still play most games they come out with. But I'm not exactly going to be putting them on any top 10 list anytime soon. It's like a cheap thrill, not much more than that and hasn't been for a little while now.
