To download the latter, you absolutely have to click this button after clicking the thumbnail image. So you click twice per image in order to access the "original size" image then save that image, anything short of this would result in heavily degraded low quality shit. Yes, the fantia site design is terrible and scam.
Alternatively, you can use a dedicated downloader of your choice, which would normally crawl through the highest quality file available.
