can't do anything about the swf files or the tumblr purge, but I can at least make sure his frraffinity is archived

Regarding the tumblr, you actually still can access the images there through the internet archive, even if there appears to be no images at all.

The purge happened LATE 2018; though the most extensive archival was right around December 10th of that year. Everything still seems intact, though.

To access them, you need to utilize either inspect element or view the page source; same either way. Inside the element of each post there is direct access to the image files through tumblr directly, and is still accessible even despite the ban wave. You have to go through the meta data and look for either a media.tumblr.com link or a photoset, latter which provides a blank page with all of the images, though it sometimes extends past the page and you need to use inspect element to get them all.

Here's an image example for reference, this using Dongwongtang's tumblr which is similarly nuked. And if you do go through tumblr, please make sure to check if you have the highest resolution version. 1280 is usually the max, so just replace the value at the end of the URL to check.

Also, if you decide to hit his twitter for the sake of completion, and I do recommend a twitter media downloader for that, please use an image duplicate finder to sus out any images you already got off FA. Also rule of thumb, most twitter images are downgrades of the source file. The site is very much NOT useful as a gallery.

Edit: Also on SWF files, a workaround I found was recording it with Geforce then uploading the mp4 to a mp4 to gif site. HOWEVER, since almost all of his flash work is the "hover over to see the internal" thing, it sounds fucky to do. You could still do it, I suppose, but that depends if you want to go through the effort of manufacturing a gif that captures the "experience" right.
