The first season ends with Volume 4 of the Koikatsu-based Rent-A-Girlfriend fanwork, "Possum Girl."

This volume with be focused on Mami Nanami, Kazuya Kinoshita's ex-girlfriend (and proud of it); Kobe Yoshyaki, Kazuya's enemy basically; and how both of them met each other.

But first; a special that explains why Mami decided to dump him. You'll also get to meet two of the many foreigners who caught Mami's wrath. (8/25/22)

Ruka, for legit reasons (she promises), "throws" Heibi "off the island." And Kazuya manages to get stable employment while Chizuru ends up in an alcohol-induced foursome. Next; Kobe manages to get the smartphone with the dreaded MEANS app while a saddened Kazuya gets forced into another "stick-rubbing session." (8/30/22)

Mami's trip downhill concludes with Kobe finally catching her and staking a claim on her. However; reality and consequences are not far behind as Kobe ends up dealing with the psychological mess she (and her mother) carry around. (9/6/22)
