@0ld0neEye >I kinda like that some of their stuff uses more realistic animal faces. Too many artists use the same "snouty face" for every type of animal.
It takes actual talent to do that. Most of the furry artists are there in pursuit of easy money and cheap fame.
There was a fable about a genius painter who drew only cocks. The chicken variety, not penises, you filthy creatures. His paintings were so realistic, that one could genuinely mistake his art for a real bird. He was asked time and time again to drew something greater - like, say, God. He always refused without an explanation, and everyone considered him to be a very humble person because of this, for he was not jumping above his station, trying to do something he has no aptitude for - until some more persistent questioners pressed him enough. He told them that any talentless hack can draw a god, for nobody ever have seen a deity. The hack can simply tell that this is how he sees the God, and so nobody would question further, and will praise the painter instead for unique and exotic vision. But if you paint a shitty chicken, everybody will tell you that you are a waste of space, and your "art" is crap. So all this time he was just styling on all other painters, who all were just sellouts and gloryseekers in his most humble opinion.
