I began to collect these banners from Nov 2014 till now (July 2019) as sort of history of this site.

This is the update part (from March 2017 till now) for my previous banner gallery which can not be directly updated since it is older than twelve months.

Interestingly, it seems that banners might actually be permanently archived on the E-Hentai sever now as of March 2018:

Simply replace the 2018 with whatever year (2018-2021 as of this post), the 03 with whatever month (01-12 except for 2018 which is only 03-12) , and the 1 with any integer value greater than 0.

The one exception is 2018-10/1 which is an animated png, so you have to also change the file extension from .jpg to .png:

Speaking of which, it seems that you did not properly archive the animated version of that very banner and only have the static-image version:

...actually, it looks like you might just be straight-up re-encoding images unnecessarily. For example, compare the very next page (137) to the original - your saved version, if one zooms in, shows considerably more JPG artifacts:

I had a "what if" moment and to my surprise this gallery exists along with a couple others. Good to have an overview of all banners, both for reference and to avoid repeats.

Thank you for your reminder. The banner of 2018-10-01 has been replaced with the original .png format one.

As for the size mismatching problem for the other banners, the cause is that when you click on an image on EH, the image showing on your browser is a resampled one. You will need to click [Download original ... source] to see the original unsampled file.

I've re-checked all the banners starting from 2018-03-01 (the first banner which can be obtained by https://ehgt.org/b/xxx) with the banners in this gallery to guarantee their file sizes are correct.
