It was kinda refreshing for me to see some of the ideas behind his future works being gestated in this first volume, the enormous evolution in his art style and proportions of the female characters. Also, the first official appearance of Misako, a chapter with yuri, a chapter with S&M, etc...

I'll start working on volume 2 as soon as possible but it may take a bit more time to come together. I'm not having as much free time as I used to upto now.

I'm amazed by his consistency on faces, there are small evolutions here and there (less round, sharper features), but yeah, his style evolution is really amazing.

Well this one is a lot older. His style has changed since this time. And here, we dont have all the cameo and references from others works, what is the best thing in his recent works.

When I think about it, before Yuriko introduction in his works/world, I wasnt a big fan of him. And now, she appears in every works, and I like all his mangas. Maybe all of us love her too much.

I agree w/ Anatoh, however I still very much enjoy his older works, particulary this one because I can kinda see the origin of several of his future ideas (or characters in the case of Misako), things that we rarely see on his works (yuri) and overall how much he's evolved finding his style.

Maybe i'll consider breaking up this series when I'm done with volume 2, but depends if the tankoubon for Saya Sensei is out or not by that time. We'll see.
