This is a direct 1st edition, first published May 20th of 1990.

I already own this title in my personal library, but since I saw this while in Hyogo, I had to buy it and scan it all in. I didn't want to de-bind my original copy as I paid a fair amount for it way back when - I'd attempted to scan it in, but considering the circumstances, I didn't want to damage it. I have long wanted to archive aspects of Shurato as many of the setting documents, if any of them, are available readily online. Its history and legacy are really profound in a way and I think its one of the best 90s works from Tatsunoko. Lots of conceptual data, information, interviews and the acknowledgement of doujin artists & their groups come to light in this text, and its really a treasure. Even if you download it here, I highly reccomend sourcing a physical copy for your own shelves as its really worth it.

No website archive this time as its over 120+ pages or so, so I reccomend simply downloading it via the MEGA link or by Internet Archive. All of these are scanned in at 300 DPI, very standard, but as PNGs for better quality. Anyone who torrents this gallery for others is a godsend and we appreciate you!

As I am back from Hyogo, I am translating an onslaught of books I acquired including some other rare materials in the coming days, months, etc. I bought over 300+ books! I'm crazy!

This text has a parent book that I am currently archiving, the "Perfect File", which has more genga, douga and layouts than this version. Artists mentioned uniquely are Haruhiko Mikimoto, who designed some characters evidently. Final edits have been made to this gallery!

The best designed series from the Saint Seiya craze, likely influenced a bunch of Monster Hunter and Mega Man armors.

Though you could also feel the animators and budget dying trying to make any of them move. It was like the '80s invented modern video game characters it didn't have the technology for. I'm not a fan of 3D anime but if anybody pointed out it could let the cast of Shurato afford personalities and more than one move, I'd be like "Shit, you're right."
