An early update for a change!
This particular volume felt kind of like a slog to me, perhaps because of my lack of time.
Things seem to be calming down a bit for me but it's still early to tell.

For now I'm keeping with the original plan: since we don't have a Tankoubon for Saya-sensei yet, I'm going to carry on with volume 3 of Reiko Natsume. As a matter of fact I already started preparing it.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish it before the end of the year!

@Anatoh yeah, I know, but my worry is that since now I'm having considerably less time to dedicate to the translations, it may end up being a year + until I get to help saya sensei if I decide to finish this series first.
Nothing is set in stone though so, once I get there, I'll decide what to do.

Thanks again for your hard work, and completing another manga. I wonder why the author never made Reiko reappear in the next stories.
He made FOUR volumes about her and we have never heard about her since. Especially when she is working in the same industry of the future tv announcers...

The most likely answer (based on post scripts I've translated) seems to be that he forgets about most of the characters he creates except the extremely popular ones. Another answer specifically regardin Reiko could be (spoilers for volume 4 I guess) that she ends up getting married with fukuyama and since he was more or less the co-star maybe he doesn't want to use reiko because we know so much about her husband... at least that's my theory.

Does any one know how old is Ozaki Akira? I cannot find any SNS account of him.

I don't know how old is he, but I can ballpark it: Let's assume his first works were published when he was young, around 20 years old. His first published work was in the late '90s, I wanna say '98. So that would put him at around 45-50 in 2024.
And yeah, he's doing a new story based around the new hot star of his universe, Yuriko's sister, Ruriko. It's gonna take some time before we see it through though, since he's now being published every 2 months, which means that if this new story has 10 chapters, it'll take 20 months to come out, or almost 2 years. The wait's gonna be tough.
