So Agent Tan is obviously Karen Gillan, but I can't place any of the other faces. Maybe Agent Hickory as Eve Myles?
Are the others all original faces ore am I just failing to recognize them?

The monster's aren't stupid; there's a reason :) The worms that attacked Beta and Gold finished up comparatively fast...so why is the worm attacking Agent White taking it's time with her?

<minor spoiler> Page 19 had the clues. Tan pointed out they had orders to 'not spend too much time on rescues', and on panel 2 you can see why. More worms have arrived for the agents. Reinforcements can go both ways.

In short, the worm devouring Agent White is taking its time to keep the other Agents in once place...allowing more worms to show up. Similar to how a sniper might deliberately wound an enemy soldier, knowing that the rest of the squad will risk time, effort, and resources to save the injured. Regardless, once the worms' new trap is sprung there will be no further use stringing along the bait like that...

Yep. Original plan was a follow up commission work, but couldn't find any takers so opted to do it myself. Not quite up to Platamatina's level, but hopefully getting better with each page :)

I can barely follow what the hell is going on at any moment. So many of them look the same, and they all pretty much sound the same. Whole thing reads like if I had a fever dream about reading a vore comic.

Your opinion is appreciated. I do acknowledge that I could have split this page into more to make it easier to follow everyone abandoning the Oasis, but by the time that thought hit me I had already committed. I have been guilty about cramming too much into certain pages to adhere to a self-imposed arbitrary number. But now that it is done the next couple dozen of pages will have a far smaller cast per page.

Worms take about an hour or so to digest, so barring any unexpected rescues Agent Gold is likely not having a fun time of it, followed shortly by Maroon and White. Plants may or may not be quicker, and with their variety it will also change plant by plant.

I'm in the same boat with this one that I am with "Plant Food". It's going really slowly, and I no longer have any idea what is happening. Are they being devoured? If so, why do they look like they are posing for Playboy when they speak? The art style is really good - the character poses and faces seemingly don't fit with what seems to be happening though. It also really doesn't match what I remember from the pretty gruesome business in the Project MCX short stories.

None of this is a knock on Nexus09's skill - they are both a skilled writer and an artist. Perhaps I am missing something.

@sporgasbored Fair criticisms, and there are still two things I freely acknowledge to have been struggling to convey with my art: Action and Fear. One of the reasons I commissioned Platamatina for Late to the Party was his ability to convey energy in his panels, something that I've found is far easier said than done lol. The other thing is fear; my current work does feel somewhat subdued but attempts otherwise have ended up feeling even worse. The faces end up looking horrible or like something anime (nothing wrong with anime/hentai obviously, but jumping from one style to another can be even more jarring). The comic is also less brutal than the written stories because it is released on other sites with stricter guidelines (such as Deviant-Art). Narratively I've also shifted towards the 'fade to black' ending style, since quite a few people didn't care for it. To each their own; some folks want a happy ending they can say 'and the huntsman appeared and saved the damsel'. Those who've read the written stories are confident that there is a very different outcome.

One thing that does make me happy is that I am definitely getting better. Looking at the first few pages is so hard lol. One thing that also makes the comic feel longer I'm starting to feel is my alternating 2 per month/3 per month release schedule. Taking a couple of months off, then releasing a page every week like I did with the written stories might be a better approach. Something to consider.

Also totally agree with Plant Food; I have no idea where that one's going. Chapter 2 has been...strange.

@nigel561 it's one of the quirks of feedback; some want things to go faster (I can definitely see that) while some enjoy the struggle more (also a point too). Surprisingly more folks who contact me directly prefer the later under the 'why rush a good thing?' thought. What I'm leaning towards is perhaps a couple of months delay between future chapters, then once ready release a page every week until the chapter is concluded. That way those wanting progress get it faster, while those wanting a longer gratuitous struggle can get it too. Happy all around!

Also honored to be compared to DBZ, even though I get the criticism heheh. I'm nowhere near that level of epic beyond the fantasy of turning super saiyan in heavy traffic. Now, if you compared me to GT...them fightin' words!
