So, just to summarize: this is a heartfelt fanfic about a clinically depressed and suicidal Moe from The Simpsons having a chance meeting with a crazy "manic pixie dream girl" type of woman who's somehow the only sane person in all of Springfield, and the two of them slowly bond over exposing their traumas and deal with how people can ruin someone without even trying through indifference, with extremely sharp dialogue writing, experimental and evocative art, and interspersed with genuinely funny comedy beats...

I get how Lenny and Carl's laughing at his suicide attempts is a commentary on how the audience of the SImpsons sees it, cause they know the show would never legitimately have Moe commit suicide and be gone from the show, but also fuck them wtf.

Moe should not be ripped he should have a beer belly and noodle arms. This alone takes me out of the story. A big part of why Moe is alone is that he is not attractive in both face or body, if he was that ripped hed be smashing a different hoe every night.
But this was likely drawn by a woman so eh whatever, its fine, they can have their silly fantasies about fixing the big muscular beast, they love that trope. Im not going to pretend that I dont enjoy unrealistic tropes as well when it comes to girls.
I enjoyed the humor and animations much more than the actual story but its still worth a read Id say.
