by destruction you mean debinding the book ? or you are scanning as you are reading the chapters and you dont want to advance too far just for the sake of scanning ?

I see, well yeh that how it is. for decent and fast scanning book need to be debinded which pretty much ruins it !

More importantly doing it that way and updating more than twice in 30 days gets the gallery expunged AFAIK. Now you have to do all of it in one go.

Beside only twice update per month thing, there is also the risk of someone else might post the full book and it can replace your gallery before you can upload the rest of the chapters. You'll break the book for nothing then.
