I usually like mind control stories the more there's hypnosis-like things and the more there are empty eyes.
Yet even though there's nothing like that in this, I liked it a lot.
Must be a combination from chara design, all girls always looking happy and active, and the knowledge of the efforts the protagonist should have made to reach this situation with something closer to hypnosis (though the author probably didn't care about that).
