Here's the thing for me about J-law playing Mystique:
In "X-Men: First Class" she did go the full body paint route that Rebecca Romijin Stamos did for ALL of her appearances... but only for ONE scene. In all of her other appearances in that movie she was wearing an outfit of some sort.

After she became a big Academy Award winning star, I hear that she threatened to walk from the sequel movies unless she was allowed to wear a body suit instead of the paint, and of course they caved in to her demands (you know, its not like she was legally obligated to do the other movies or anything).

I kind of feel sorry for Rebecca in the first movies; yes, she was chosen because she was comfortable with nudity (or partial nudity), but she had little to nothing to do in any of the movies, although she is just as good an actress as J-Law (or at least, how Jennifer phoned it in for the last two movies).

On this video: Its a shame they couldn't/didn't want to go back and color in all the places where the paint was rubbing off, but that would be way too much work for a porn video.

Nice plot, but the bodypaint could have been better. The bodypainter must have used a water-based makeup, which is why it was rubbing off so much. I would have used an alcohol-based product which would stay perfect throughout filming. They shouldn't skimp on production materials.
